Caps & Swimsuits
Practice Suits
It is a good idea to have practice suits to wear as repeated usage will cause suits to wear out quickly. All swimmers should wear appropriate suits during practices:
Girls: 1 piece
Boys: Jammers, briefs or trunks
Team Suits
IMPORTANT NOTE: You are not required to purchase a new logo suit if you have a previous suit that still fits.
Junior Predators: It's completely at your discretion if you would like to purchase a team suit for your child. Team suits are typically worn at meets but you are welcome to wear them at practice, too.

You will need for your child to accompany you to the store to try on suits to ensure proper fit. Many swim families have a gently used team swimsuits to pass along. Inventory and pricing is completely controlled by participating families. You can ask around at practices or check the swap/sale table at the kick-off party.
T.eam Caps
Every swimmer will be provided a latex team cap (blue) as a part of their registration. We will have a limited number of blue silicone team caps as well as latex special colors (hot pink & black) for sale.
Please encourage your child to wear a swim cap during meets and practice. Caps help performance by reducing drag and distraction from hair in the eyes. The caps also help us show a unified team during meets!
Hair protection from chlorine tip: Saturate your child's hair with tap water before putting on the cap, this will help reduce the amount of chlorinated pool water that gets to the hair.
