Hello Predators!

Lots to cover about this weekend:

1. We are hosting the LSA 2 Championships meet on Sunday morning (where we will dominate to be three-peat LSA 2 Champions!  #winforLori #kylesaidso). Volunteer assignments will be sent when ready. Expect to arrive early :)  THEME is OWL CREEK PRIDE (so wear all that OC spirit gear). 

2. 11Up parents-- remind your kids they have to go to Clerk of Course on Sunday. Out of habit, our kids go straight to the pool. If they do not check-in at Clerk of Course, they will get scratched from their races. I worked in the CoC last night and not coming to the Clerk of Course was an issue. 

3. We need help on Saturday to set up tables/chairs and then decorate after the pasta dinner as well as serving at the pasta dinner and banquet: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0948aaac2aa2f49...

4. Pasta dinner: this is on Saturday evening from 5:30-6:30 in the gym. We will only feed swimmers. Food was not ordered to accommodate siblings or parents/sitters/grandparents. We will decorate for the banquet at 6:30 when the pasta dinner is finished. 

5. Banquet is on Sunday at 5:30 PM. Dinner will be catered from Salsaritas and Jet's pizza. BYOB for adults and children. We will eat first, then awards, basket/raffles, break down the gym, and then head out to the pool deck for a party until 9:00 when the pool closes. Attire is really what you want-- some families wear dressy-casual, some families wear casual clothes, some families wear swim gear--up to you. The banquet is a fun evening and an awesome time to celebrate our OC swimmers, but this year it is going to be a warm day, we do not have AC units in the gym, and we are going to be FULL in the gym space. I recommend everyone pack plenty of drinks. 

NEW FAMILIES:  you know those Speeding Tickets your child(ren) has/have collected all season? Well--this where they come in to play. The kids will bring their speeding tickets to the banquet and use them similar to a raffle ticket to bid on baskets that evening. After awards, we will draw names for each of the baskets. Not sure what I am talking about when I mention speeding tickets?  Please ask the coaches. The bin with speeding tickets and ribbons will be at the banquet if you have never collected them or need to get the ones earned on Sunday.
