the deadline to decade your swimmer for quals is tomorrow (7/6/23)

pasta dinner rsvp due by Friday 7/7 (swimmers only) and banquet by 7/10/23 (swimmers and family).  We must turn in catering numbers on these days and cannot accommodate late RSVPs (even though we cannot turn them off on signup genius)  

Pasta Dinner for swimmers only, Saturday, July 15th at 5:30 PM for Champs. Carbo-loading before we dominate LSA 2!

5. Swim Banquet is Sunday, July 16th at 5:30 PM in the gym. RSVP no later than July 11th. We cannot accommodate late RSVPs due to catering deadlines.

7. We cannot put on large events like the pasta dinner and banquet without YOUR help. Please volunteer! :)

How to know if your child has a LSA cut time--please refer to the results document attached and from previously sent emails. The LSA 2 cut time is at the top by each event. If your child is AT that time or faster AND has swam in at least TWO meets, they will be eligible for quals (youngers will be on July 11th at Woodhaven; olders are July 12th at WST, championships are at OC on July 16th--this will be an "all hands on deck" to help make the event happen).

If your child is CLOSE to a cut time, you can request for them to swim a time trial on July 6th. Please contact Coach Kelly directly by Friday June 30th about your child doing a time trial. If you are unsure what close is, please talk with the coaches--they will be able to advise.

Dates:

Regular practices on 7/1-- Donuts provided.

NO practice on 7/3-7/4

Regular practice times 7/5-7/8.

TIME TRIALS are on 7/6-- notify Coach Kelly by Friday, June 30th this week if you would like a Time Trial for your child(ren).

PM practice on 7/10 for quals prep

7/11- 10U quals at Woodhaven

7/12- practice and 11up quals at WST

7/13-7/15 regular practices for swimmers going to Champs, relay alternates included

Pasta Dinner- 7/15 (probably around 5:30)

7/16- Champs at Owl Creek (expect an early start)--where we expect LSA 2 dominations!, Banquet (probably around 5:30), party at the pool upon conclusion of the awards.
