Hello Predators,

1. Tomorrow's meet at AT Woods of St. Thomas. Heat Sheet is attached. Volunteer assignments are also attached. Contact Holly directly with any volunteer questions. Please contact the coaches directly with any swim questions. 

Theme: Disney (this includes Star Wars, Marvel, and anything Disney-esque).

Arrival: 5:00 PM at 6701 Fallen Leaf Circle 

2. If your child has swam for OC for TEN years, please let Casey Maudlin know ASAP (502-592-3668) so they can be properly recognized at the banquet.

3. We will have time trials held on Thursday, July 6th during big kid practices (9:15 AM). If your swimmer is close to a LSA cut time, but do not get it at either meet this week, they can try for a time trial. If you are requesting a time trial, please plan to help volunteer as we have to set it up as a meet with timers and officials. Brooke will do stroke and turn and start. If you are a parent who can help time (we probably need 4), please let me know. 

4. How to know if your child has a LSA cut time--please refer to the results documents from previously sent emails. The LSA 2 cut time is at the top by each event. If your child is AT that time or faster AND has swam in two meets, they will be eligible for quals (youngers will be on July 11th at Woodhaven; olders are July 12th at WST, championships are at OC on July 16th--this will be an "all hands on deck" to help make the event happen). 

If your child is CLOSE to a cut time, you can request for them to swim a time trial on July 6th. Please contact Coach Kelly directly by Friday June 30th about your child doing a time trial. 

5. Next week you will start getting information to RSVP for pasta dinner (July 15th, swimmers only); banquet (July 16th, swimmers + family), and volunteer to help setup, serve, and clean up for these two events.  We are also working with the Coaches to try and determine a Movie with Coaches date. 

6. We have TWO swim meets this week.  We will swim Douglas Hills at home on Thursday. Arrival will be at 4:30 and theme will be Hawaiian. Douglas Hills is a much larger LSA 1 team. They also take their swim team themes very seriously. We expect you to bring your theme A-game on Thursday. Also, expect it to be a late night--big team = lots of heats, particularly with the littles.

NO practices (AM OR PM) on Friday, 6/30, Deadline to request a time trial

Regular practices on 7/1-- Donuts provided. 

NO practice on 7/3-7/4

Regular practice times 7/5-7/8. 

TIME TRIALS are on 7/6-- notify Coach Kelly by Friday this week if would like a Time Trial.

PM practice on 7/10 for quals prep

7/11-  10U quals at Woodhaven

7/12- practice and 11up quals at WST

7/13-7/15 regular practices for swimmers going to Champs, relay alternates included

Pasta Dinner- 7/15 (probably around 5:30)

7/16- Champs at Owl Creek  (expect an early start), Banquet (probably around 5:30)
