Good Evening -

I am still waiting to download the PDF results from last night's meet, but unfortunately, the Predators suffered our first defeat of the 2021 season. It was a close (less than 30 points) one and the coaches and I were pleased with our performance.

The more I think about it, it is probably better we lost. This way, we do not have the immense pressure of an undefeated season weighing on us at Division 2 Championships. The pressure of an undefeated season (and poor officiating) derailed my beloved Kentucky Wildcats during the 2015 NCAA Tournament - and I couldn't go through that trauma again.

UPCOMING EVENTS

With only about a week and a half remaining during the summer swim season, we still have a number of events still on the schedule. I want to reassure you all that we are still having the Pasta Dinner the night before Championships and the Swim Team Banquet the night of Championships. I’ve heard some parents were concerned that with Championships being moved to Sunday, we would not have the Banquet – BUT WE ARE HAVING IT. Below, please see the upcoming schedule

While you all have been tremendous, we still need your help more than ever. If you can volunteer time/effort/energy into assisting with these events, we would greatly appreciate it.

• Tonight or tomorrow, we will be sending out a Sign Up Genius so we can get an accurate headcount of attendees for the Pasta Dinner and Banquet. Please be on the lookout
