Good Afternoon Owl Creek Predators,

As we get closer to qualifications and championships, I thought it would be good to update everyone on how many qualification times each swimmer has.  I have attached a document with all of the qualification times for each age group/event and included your swimmer's top times for each event.  Green means they have qualified for qualifications in that event. Red means that they have not. An asterisk means that the time was earned at the Woodhaven meet (the pool is much shorter and times may not be accurate). N/A means that they have not swam a legal swim for that event.

The focus moving forward will be to have fewer red boxes and more green boxes.  The coaches and I would like to see everyone at qualifications! Qualifications and championships are exciting times of the year, and we want each swimmer to be involved in swimming for Owl Creek! At qualifications, each swimmer is only allowed to swim three individual events.  However, the more events a swimmer qualifies for the more we are able to spread our swimmers out between events and score more points at championships.  I will also attach the document about rules for qualifications and championships below.  I invite everyone to look over this document especially if this is your first year on the swim team, but returning families might also want to look it over since it has been two years since our last championship meet.

This is a great time to be fine-tuning strokes and making adjustments before our last dual meet and time trials.  We have a couple more Saturday Swim Clinics available, and the coaches are available for private lessons as well.
