Good Evening Owl Creek Predators and Families,

Coach Grace, Coach Taylor, and I want to thank everyone for their hard work and commitment this season. While it may not have been the season we thought we would have, we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be on the pool deck and swimming at all in this challenging time. It is truly a blessing to be able to coach a spectacular group of kids in such a supportive environment as Owl Creek. The other coaches and I would like to address a few different groups of people.

To the Swimmers: We would like to thank each of you for your diligence and willingness to work hard during practice throughout the year. While we were not able to race in a meet setting, the other coaches and I saw a drastic improvement in your abilities and hope that each of you can be as proud as we are of you. We would like to thank you as well for listening and helping us keep one another safe on deck with the new social distancing guidelines and restrictions put into place. There was a huge learning curve for each of us, but it was your cooperation that ultimately led to our ability to swim with one another safely. The coaches appreciate your eagerness to swim every morning, and we look forward to the next summer swim season.

To the Parents: Grace, Taylor, and I want to start by thanking you for the generous donations. It has been an honor and a pleasure coaching your children and continues to be a highlight of our summers. We also thank all the parents who volunteered their time to help at practices. Whether it was taking temperatures before practice, helping time on deck, or monitoring the social distancing, we could not have been successful without the assistance. Your willingness to help and support our team is what makes the Owl Creek Swim Team the best.

To the Board: The coaches would like to thank you all for your constant support throughout the season. A huge thank you to Kyle Dawkins and Brooke Rohrs for helping the season run smoothly and working out any issues that popped up along the way.

Again, thank you to everyone for the effort each one of you has made to make this season come together. This neighborhood and swim team has always meant so much to each of our coaches and to our families. We have enjoyed coaching this year and cannot wait to be back next season. We wish the best to your families this coming school year and will see you next summer!
