The Andy Renz Award

Dr. Andy Renz was a beloved father, friend, and swim team supporter who passed away much too soon. Each year, we choose a Predator Parent who exemplifies all that Andy Renz contributed to the swim team: team spirit, a great attitude, and enthusiasm for every single swimmer in the pool, whether it was one of his kids or not.

We ask that you take a minute to think about a parent you might know or have witnessed this season who exhibits these traits. It doesn't have to be the loudest parent...just someone who shows a great attitude and team spirit.

If you have a nomination, please reply to Maura Allain at [email protected] with the name of the parent and why you think they are a good choice for the Andy Renz Award. We will compile all of the nominations and the swim team board will vote on the winner.
