Directions to DH Pool

Important reminders for this meet:

1. PARKING INSTRUCTIONS:  There is parking available at Crosby Middle School as well as around Gatehouse Lane. DO NOT park in the small courts off of Gatehouse Lane.
2. We begin swimmer warm ups @ 5:30. Swimmers should arrive by 5:00 at the latest and report to their designated age group location. We will be set up at the far end of the pool (closest to the Crosby MS parking lot).
3. Volunteer assignments are attached. Look closely and 1st half workers give attention to your report time. All lane timers, stroke & turn, starters, place judges should report to the 5:45 meeting for instruction regardless of which half you are working. Be sure to sign-in at the volunteer table to pick up your items needed for your job and please return them to the volunteer table unless otherwise instructed. (Learn about parent jobs at meets)
4. Age group parents will write swimmer events on swimmers when they arrive at the meet. Older swimmers will have event sheets by age group posted to mark themselves at the meet. Changes are happening right up to the start of the meet, so please be sure to use the official heatsheet in your volunteer packet to mark swimmer entry information (event/heat/lane).
5. If it is raining, or looks like rain, watch your email and report to the pool unless notified of a delay. We will swim in the rain if their is not thunder/lightening.
6. Break out your Predator apparel for this meet.
7. After meet party at Beef O'Brady's.

THIS WEEK...

There is no practice on Tuesday morning (day after meet). Tuesday evening practice will be held at regular times.

Due This Friday, June 14th - declare absences (parent volunteer & swimmer meet entry) for June 24th against Plainview (instructions here)

Wednesday, June 12th Breakfast with Parents, 9:15-11:15 am. Plan to join your swimmer at practice for a quick and tasty treat.

Thursday, June 13th Swim Team Pictures, 10:30-Noon. 

LOOKING AHEAD...
