2ND MEET ABSENCES DECLARATIONS DUE NOW
May 31st
Our 2nd meet is June 10th. If a swimmer or a swim parent is going to be absent all or part of the meet, take action now to share this information.We call this "meet declarations" and the deadline to respond is tomorrow (Saturday)
- Go to team site: owlcreekswimteam.swimtopia.com [computer or phone works]
- On the right side of the main page click the meet in the "Events" section
- You will be directed to the "Events & Swim Calendar" page and may need to scroll down to find the meet (organized by dates)
- Click the green box titled "meet entry" to declare your swimmer unavailable or click the green box titled "job sign up" to declare a parent unavailable
- If the boxes are marked closed, you have missed the deadline and will need to text Coach Chris 502-381-1285 & Coach Bailey 502-445-2620 with your swimmer declaration and Kathryn Cummins 502-727-8433 (volunteer coordinator) with your parent declarations.
- If you have a change after your initial declaration, you may make changes if the sign-ups are still open; otherwise complete step 5 above.
here's a reminder of how meet declarations work

Reminders:
- All families are expected to provide a worker (age 16&up) if they have a swimmer
- 6&under parents will only be scheduled to work the second half of a meet if they have a swimmer participating in that half or if they request to work that half (sometimes one parent stays behind to work and join the after party at Beef O'Brady's while the other parent heads home)
- Except for positions that require specific training, assignments may be filled by either parent, older siblings, sitters, grandparents, etc., regardless of the specific name listed on the worker assignment sheet.
- If you have more than one swimmer, it may be necessary for your family to work the entire meet (especially true for home meets and when we have lots of missing families). See point above to assist you.

NOTE: The heatsheet and worker assignments for our first meet (this coming Monday) will be emailed tomorrow (Saturday).
