MEET THE COACHES

We're very excited about our 2019 coaching staff as we look to expand upon our momentum and accomplishments from last year.

We have two returning coaches from last year. Chris Owen will return for his fourth
year and assume the Head Coach position. Chris just completed his final year of swimming at the college level for Bellarmine University. Before his college swimming career, Chris swam 12 years on the Owl Creek Swim Team as well as for Trinity High School and Triton.

Grace Huber will be returning as an Assistant Coach. She is currently finishing her
Senior year at Sacred Heart Academy. She is a member of the Lakeside National Team and will attend and swim for Xavier University next year. Grace has over 10 years with Owl Creek Swim Team.

We have two new coaches joining our staff this year. While they’re both first year coaches for Owl Creek, they’ve been part of the Owl Creek Swim Family for years. Bailey Cox will come on board as an Assistant Coach. Bailey swam for Owl Creek for 10 years as well as Triton and Lakeside. Bailey also swam for St. X High School
and was Team Captain his Senior year. Bailey coached for Louisville Country Club last summer. He is currently finishing up his first year of college at the University of Dayton.

Taylor Owen will be joining his brother and former Owl Creek Predator teammates as an Assistant Coach. Taylor attends and swims for Bellarmine University. Taylor was a member of the Owl Creek Swim Team for 10 years and previously swam for Trinity High School and Triton.

Our coaching staff has big plans for the team this year. They look forward to working with you and your swimmers to make this a fun and successful swim season.
