CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE ON A GREAT FIRST MEET OF THE SEASON!!!

The first meet of the season is behind us and I hope that all swimmers and parents enjoyed Glen Oaks hospitality. Dual meets are all about giving our swimmers opportunities to earn qualifying times in as many events as possible, while collecting a few ribbons along the way. The results are attached and also posted on the homepage of our website for your reference.

For all you newbies, here is what happens next... There are 2 clear file boxes that contain hanging file folders, 1 for each swimmer. Any ribbons won at the meet and speeding tickets will be placed in these folders and swimmers can retrieve these after practices on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. These bins are always at meets, so if your swimmer doesn't pick up before the next meet, just ask Jen Baker, Maura Allain or me to get them for your swimmer at some point during the meet. Be sure to save your swimmer's speeding tickets as they are used during the prize raffle at the swim banquet at the end of the season.

Speaking of ribbon boxes, ours went missing at the end of the Glen Oaks meet. If you were the helpful citizen who grabbed them, please contact Maura Allain.
